Who am I?
Welcome to my not-so-secret haven!
I have a fondness for the curious, the beguiling, and the awe-inspiring. Some of my pieces are based on media that has pulled at my heartstrings and invoked otherworldly daydreams, others are drawn straight from my own baffling mind. Regardless of the inspiration, it's all work that I've poured my heart into and am absolutely honored to share with you!
​Outside of my most private motivations and passions, a few fun facts about me are that I adore animals of all shapes and sizes (my husband and I have five companion parrots that are holding my heart hostage for seed), I detest washing dishes, and I want to visit as many countries as possible but am terrible at socializing.
My Story
Art has come in and out of my life, but up until recently I discredited its value. I gave too much weight to others' voices telling me it couldn't be more than a hobby, some cute side-quest contained to sketchbooks that were sequestered from prying eyes. As I've made my professional journey, from serving in the U.S. Marine Corps to leading a team of amazing IT analysts for Playstation and picking up a degree or two along the way, I've come to the realization that none of the coveted white-collar career paths I thought I should aspire towards can satisfy my inner purpose, and I would rather risk failing than live without trying.
